Dan Scholl is the Co-Head of Tax-Exempt Fixed Income and a Portfolio Manager based in Philadelphia, jointly responsible for the management of client assets, including individuals, family trusts, endowments, foundations and public governments. He joined Schroders in 2003 as a Senior Vice President and US Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Dan is also a member of the Firm’s Global Fixed Income Committee
which oversees over $100 billion in fixed income assets.

From 2006 to 2008, Dan served as a Sales Director in the U.S. Intermediary Business where he led the effort in the Eastern region of the US to expand the firm’s presence with registered investment advisors, private banks, consultants, broker-dealers and variable annuity programs. Prior to Schroders, Dan spent five years at Deutsche Asset Management as a Director and Portfolio Manager of U.S. Fixed Income. He was a member of a team that managed over $29 billion in fixed income assets – including over $3 billion in municipal business.

Prior to joining Deutsche Asset Management, Dan worked for over 10 years in municipal finance for the State of Delaware. He served as a senior policy advisor for economic development to Governor Thomas R. Carper, an executive assistant to the State’s Chief Financial Officer and a budget analyst in the Governor’s Executive Office of the Budget.

Financial Planning, April 2005, co-authored; and “Forecasting State Welfare Caseloads: Alternative Methodologies” Public Budgeting and Financial Management, November 1993, co-authored with Dr. John Stapleford.
